2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration Information

 

We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2039 to the Monessen City School District!  

 

Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year Opens up on Monday March 9, 2026. Please call the school with any questions or stop by to pick up a packet.

 

If you have a child who is currently or will be five (5) years by August 31, 2026, (The child's date of birth must be no later than August 31, 2021) it is time to register for Kindergarten! Please bring the required documents when registering.

 

Required Documents Include:

*Valid Drivers License/Passport/ID for identification and residency purposes

*Two (2) Current proof of residency (mortgage, lease, utility bill(s), pay stub, rent receipt, credit card bills, etc.)

*Child's Birth Certificate

*Immunizations Records

A student will not be enrolled until all information has been presented to the registrar.

 

Any Pre K Students Enrolled at MEC or SPHS who will be starting Kindergarten must also register. Enrollment does not automatically carry over.

 

We will have registration packets, information, and staff available to help with registration on Monday March 9, 2026 from 1:00 -5:00 PM in the Superintendent's Office.
